Tribus Named A-10 Co-Rookie of the Week

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – Clayton Tribus of the Davidson men's golf team has been named Atlantic 10 Co-Rookie of the Week, as announced by the league office Friday afternoon.
A freshman from Madison, Wisc., and product of IMG Academy (Bradenton, Fla.), Tribus began his collegiate career with a tie for 12th place showing out of 91 competitors at the 2018 Marshall Invitational.
After opening with a two-under 69, Tribus carded a final round one-under 70 to finish at 139 (-3).
Tribus was one of four Top-25 finishers for the Wildcats, who placed tied for third out of 15 teams in their season opener.

Davidson will enjoy a two-week break from tournament action before hosting the River Run Collegiate Sept. 24-25.
