DAVIDSON, N.C. — The Davidson women's lacrosse team along with three individual players earned a spot on the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) Zag Sports Academic Honor Squad for the 2017-2018 academic year.
For the eighth consecutive year, dating back to 2011, the Wildcats earned the team academic honor, while seniors Rose Woolson and Rachel Hianik along with junior Sarah Kopp were named to the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association Academic Honor Roll. This marks the seventh year in a row at least two Wildcat players were named to the honor roll. Hianik was honored last year and is the sixth player to twice have been named to the honor roll during their careers.
In order to qualify for the team honor, the women's lacrosse team had to have posted a 3.0 or higher team grade point average for the year.
