Carmack Wraps Up Season at NCAA East Region Preliminary Round

TAMPA, Fla. – Davidson junior Dylan Carmack wrapped up his season at the NCAA East Preliminary Round Saturday evening at USF Track & Field Stadium on the campus of the University of South Florida.
Carmack ran in the 5,000-meter run, stopping the clock in 15:21.93. The men's track and field team had a Wildcat competing in the 5k at the East Regional for the third consecutive year – Will Brewster '17 qualified for the event in both 2016 and 2017.
On Thursday, junior Sean Caveney competed in the 400-meter hurdles, stopping the clock in 52.64 seconds to place 34th overall out of 48 of the region's top competitors.
