DAVIDSON, N.C. – The Davidson men's golf team will open their 2018 spring season at the Wexford Intercollegiate hosted by Francis Marion, February 26 & 27.
The two-day 54-hole event will be played on the Par 72, 6,913-yard Wexford Golf Club layout.
This year's field includes Francis Marion, Akron, Charleston Southern, Cleveland State, Dartmouth, Davidson, Dayton, Georgia, Furman, Gardner-Webb, High Point, Memphis, Mercer, Presbyterian, Radford, USC Aiken, Texas Christian University, and Wofford.
Davidson's spring slate will consist of five tournaments capped off by the 2018 Atlantic 10 Championship in Orlando, Fla.
Jack Lang, the 2017 A-10 individual champion, paced the Wildcats during the fall with a 74.00 stroke average, highlighted by a pair of Top-10 finishes.
Freshman Alex Ross (75.36), juniors Mike Blasey (75.62) and Hoke Carlton and senior Spencer Papciak (79.00) will round out Davidson's starting five.
