DAVIDSON, N.C. — Head coach Susanne Depka of the Davidson women's tennis program announced today the signing of three incoming freshmen for the 2019-20 season.
"We are extremely excited and fortunate to have such a talented incoming class," said Depka. "These three young ladies will not only bring depth and versatility, but will help continue to grow our culture with their positivity, process focus, leadership, and strong work ethic. We look forward to having them as a part of our wildcat tennis family!"
The Class of 2023 is Depka's second recruiting class since taking over the program for the 2017-18 season. The Wildcats, coming off a very impressive 16-5 season a year ago under Depka with a 5-1 mark in Atlantic 10 matches, will welcome Josie Schaffer (Greenwood Village, Colo.), Emma Heiderscheit (Naples, Fla.) and Franny Shea (Bozeman, Mont.) next Fall.
