Men's XC wraps up season at NCAA Southeast Regional

ROCK HILL, S.C. – The Davidson men's cross country wrapped up its season at the NCAA Southeast Regional Meet Friday afternoon at Winthrop Coliseum and Farms.
 
The Wildcats placed 26th overall with 763 points. North Carolina State won the team title with 83 total points, while Eastern Kentucky (90) and Virginia (102) rounded out the top three scoring teams.
 
Leading the way for the 'Cats was freshman Trent Turbyfill who traversed his first collegiate cross country 10k in 32:24.6. Classmate Colin Ross was next across the line in 33:19.2, while senior Dylan Carmack was not far behind (33:30.8).
 
Rounding out the scoring for the team was senior William Jones and freshman George Lewis.
