Field Hockey Hosts Lock Haven, Saint Francis This Weekend

DAVIDSON, N.C. — Davidson will host a pair of Atlantic 10 foes this weekend, as Lock Haven visits Friday at 5:30 p.m. and Saint Francis (Pa.) comes to Belk Turf Field Sunday at noon.

Davidson is coming off a 2-1 win at Yale Sept. 30. Senior Courtney Byler provided both goals in the first half as the Wildcats won for the second time in three games.

Courtney Byler's 2-goal effort at Yale marked the fourth time the Wildcats have had a player score at least 2 goals in a match this season. Leigha Nortier had a hat trick against LIU Brooklyn, while Kristin Kisa added 2 goals against LIU Brooklyn and Sydney McKenna scored twice against Appalachian State. Nortier's hat trick was Davidson's first in nearly two years.
