WASHINGTON, D.C. – Davidson dropped a tough 3-2 double-overtime decision Thursday afternoon after holding a 2-0 halftime lead, as George Washington earned the comeback win on its home field in Atlantic 10 women's soccer.
Davidson fell to 2-13-1 overall and 0-8-1 in A-10 play, while the Colonials ran their record to 10-6-1 overall and 6-3 in the league. The 'Cats led 2-0 at the break, but saw GW score three unanswered goals to pull out the win.
