PITTSBURGH, Pa. – The Wildcats' Alexis Pheng scored her third goal of the year on a header to help Davidson earn a 1-1 draw Sunday afternoon against Duquesne in Atlantic 10 women's soccer action at Rooney Field.

Davidson moved to 2-12-1 overall and 0-7-1 in A-10 play, while the Dukes saw their record go to 5-8-2 with a 1-5-2 mark in the A-10.

Quick Hits About and From the Game:
•This was the seventh meeting all-time dating back to 1999 between both schools women's soccer programs.
•The tie was the second in the series, which is now 3-2-2 in favor of Duquesne.
•Both teams were fairly even in the first half with a scoreless draw going into the break.
•Neither team scored until late when Duquesne's Hannah Nguyen netted her second goal of the season in the 75th minute.
•Down 1-0 with just under two minutes to play, Pheng headed in the equalizer at the 88:50 mark off an assist from Cameron France.
•Pheng is tied for the team lead in goals, while the assist was France's second of the year, and third of her career, giving her six points on the season.
•Both teams did not get a shot off in the first overtime, resulting in a second extra period.
•There were three shots in that period and Davidson got off its only one in the 103rd minute from Michele Manceaux, but it was saved by the Dukes' keeper.
•In goal for the Wildcats, Sarah L'Hommedieu played all 110 minutes and was credited with two saves.
•The tie was the first of the season for the 'Cats and their first since ending last season with a pair of shutout draws in the final two games.
•Duquesne held a 12-8 advantage in shots, while edged the Dukes by one on corner kicks, 7-6.

"Physical battle today and our group showed great character after a Friday game, long bus trip and fighting from being behind. We would have liked all three points, but the players showed lots of heart to battle back for the equalizer in regulation. We have two games left and we will give everything we have left."

Davidson plays its final road game of the regular season with a trip to George Washington this coming Thursday, Oct. 18. Game time is set for 3 p.m.
