DAVIDSON, N.C. -- Davidson, the 2017 Atlantic 10 and Chapel Hill Regional Champion, will continue its first-ever NCAA Tournament appearance at Texas A&M in a best-of-three Super Regional beginning Friday at 3 p.m. (ET) on ESPN2 in College Station.

Just the second No. 4 seed to sweep a regional and sixth-ever to move on, the Wildcats advanced with a pair of wins over No. 2 National seed North Carolina, including 2-1 in the Regional Finals, while also knocking off Florida Gulf Coast in between.
Davidson (35-24), the 2017 Atlantic 10 Tournament Champions, is the third league (VCU – 2015; Richmond – 2002) member to play in the Round of 16 since 1999.
The Aggies, who captured the Houston Regional, will be making their third consecutive Super Regional appearance.
In all, Texas A&M (39-21) has appeared in 33 NCAA Tournaments, eight Super Regionals and five College World Series.
These two teams have never met on the diamond.
