Football Gets the Grade in 2016-17 Academic Year

DAVIDSON, N.C. – The Davidson football team wrapped up the 2016-17 academic year by posting a team grade point average of over 3.0 for the fifth time in seven semesters.
The Wildcats posted a team GPA of 3.04 during the 2017 spring semester. A total of 38 student-athletes registered a GPA above 3.0. During the 2016 season, 47 'Cats were named to the Pioneer Football League academic honor roll, the sixth highest squad in the conference.
In the 2016 fall semester, senior John Cook was named the second consecutive Wildcat to the PFL Academic All-Conference team.
