Yarbrough Named to 2nd A-10 Academic All-Conference Team

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – Davidson sophomore Caroline Yarbrough was selected to the Atlantic 10 Women's Outdoor Track & Field Academic All-Conference team, announced by the league Thursday.
Yarbrough provided a late spark for the Wildcats at the 2017 A-10 Outdoor Championship, winning the 5,000-meter run on the second day of competition, her third individual conference crown overall. She also gave her team points in the first event of the weekend with a fourth place result in the 10k. Yarbrough has won the indoor 3k title in each of her first two seasons.
For the Greensboro, N.C., native it marks her second selection as an Academic All-Conference team member, earning the same recognition for her efforts during the 2016-17 indoor campaign.
To be eligible a student-athlete must have a cumulative grade point average above 3.0 and be a major contributor to their teams. The Academic All-Conference teams are voted on by the Sports Information Director's of the Atlantic 10 Conference.
