AUBURN, Ala. – Led by the sophomore duo of Jack Lang and Hoke Carlton, Davidson wrapped up the Tiger Invitational presented by Jason Dufner on Monday afternoon.
The annual event was played on the Par 72, 7,149-yard Grand National Lake Course layout.
Along with the host Auburn Tigers, the 19-team field featured Kennesaw State, Missouri, James Madison, West Virginia, Charlotte, Troy, Minnesota, UNCW, Georgia State, South Alabama, Maryland, Louisville, UNCG, Mississippi State, Kansas State, Arkansas State, Samford and Davidson.
18th – Davidson (293-308-305 = 906)
T47 – Jack Lang (70-77-75 = 222)
T65 – Hoke Carlton (76-74-75 = 225)
T85 – Andy Simmons (72-78-81 = 231)
T92 – Michael Freeman (75-83-75 = 233)
96 – Kevin Carlock (78-79-80 = 237)
Auburn (279-288-284 = 851), one of three nationally-ranked teams competing, claimed the team title by by five shots over Troy.
Thomas Eldridge of UNCW, played the final two rounds in 10-under to capture individual medalist by three strokes.

Davidson will enjoy a two-week break before returning to the course at the Seahawk Intercollegiate March 19-20 in Wilmington, N.C.
