AUBURN, Ala. -- Coming off a Top-5 finish in Davidson's season opener, sophomore Jack Lang sits tied for 13th out of 99 competitors following round one of the Tiger Invitational presented by Jason Dufner.
This afternoon's second round was suspended due to darkness and will resume tomorrow morning at 7:45 a.m., immediately followed by the third and final round.
In addition to Lang's two-under 70, his fifth sub-par round of 2016-17, the Wildcats posted a season-low 293.
Also competing for Davidson is Andy Simmons (72/T-25), Michael Freeman (75/T-62), Hoke Carlton (76/T-78) and Kevin Carlock (78/T-85).
Kennesaw State's Chris Guglielmo (-7) holds the individual lead, while nationally-ranked Auburn leads the team standings at 279 (-9).
The annual event is being played on the Par 72, 7,149-yard Grand National Lake Course layout.
Along with the host Tigers, the 19-team field features Kennesaw State, Missouri, James Madison, West Virginia, Charlotte, Troy, Minnesota, UNCW, Georgia State, South Alabama, Maryland, Louisville, UNCG, Mississippi State, Kansas State, Arkansas State, Samford and Davidson
