
Carmack's PR Highlights Day One of VertKlasse Meeting

HIGH POINT, N.C. – Davidson's Dylan Carmack set a new personal best in the 1500-meter run on day one of the VertKlasse Meeting Friday at Dick Vert Stadium.
The sophomore Chattanooga, Tenn., native stopped the clock in 4:01.72, breaking his 2016 Charlotte Invitational time by nearly seven seconds and finishing just outside the top-10 in 11th overall. Three other 'Cats toed the line in 1500m – freshman Alex Hazan (4:15.85), senior Michael Schroeder (4:16.88) and freshman Bailey Autry (4:20.53).
Sophomore Brady Logan competed in the shot put, stretching the tape 13.09-meters (42'11.5).
The Wildcats return to the track tomorrow, Saturday, April 1 at 9 a.m. for the final day of the 2017 VertKlasse Meeting at Dick Vert Stadium.
