Yarbrough Named to the A-10 Academic All-Conference Team

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – Davidson sophomore Caroline Yarbrough was selected to the Atlantic 10 Academic All-Conference team, announced by the league Wednesday.
Yarbrough defended her indoor 3,000-meter title at the A-10 Championship at George Mason Field House, snapping the tape in 9:52.11, a new program record.
The Greensboro, N.C., native earned a spot on her first All-Academic team. Members of the team must be a major contributor to their program and have achieved a 3.0 grade point average or higher and are voted on by the Sports Information Director's of the conference.
Hannah Rieden was the last Wildcat to earn All-Academic status for the 2016 indoor season.
Yarbrough and her Davidson teammates begins the outdoor slate Friday March 17, on day one of the 49er Classic.
