DAVIDSON, N.C. — Fresh off a home-opening win Tuesday against Siena, Davidson caps off a two-game homestand Sunday afternoon against the William & Mary Tribe inside Richardson Stadium in women's lacrosse.

Davidson (1-1, 0-0 A-10) plays William & Mary Sunday at 1 p.m. inside Richardson Stadium. The Wildcats have won three of their last four games dating back to last season.
The All-Time Series/Last Meeting...
Davidson is seeking its first win in the all-time series, which is five games old and dates back to 2000. The two teams have not met since 2005 when the Tribe were ranked #20 and took a 20-3 decision on its home field.

Record Watch...
Goalie Rose Woolson is slowing climbing into the Wildcats' record books. She is just outside the top-eight in saves, sitting at 138 and needing one more to move into eighth. She is also close to getting into the top-eight in minutes and her current goals against average is tops all-time (8.82).
Senior Annie Brockett has an outside shot of getting in the top-10 in goals, sitting at 60. Erin Doherty and Emily Rademacher are tied for 10th place with 89 goals for their careers.

Goalkeeper Rose Woolson earned Davidson's only weekly lacrosse award last year from the Atlantic 10 by being named the league's defensive player of the week, March 14.
Last Time Out...
DAVIDSON — Senior Annie Brockett scored a career-high six goals and added an assist, and Davidson used a 8-0 run in the first half to pull away in a 14-7 triumph in its home opener against Siena Tuesday.
Brockett tied the game at 1-all on a free-position shot. Then, she started the rally with another goal less than 30 seconds later off a pass from fellow classmate Kenall Thielemann and Davidson (1-1) never looked back.
Thielemann dished out a career-high four assists, all coming in the first half, and picked up a goal for a personal-best five points. Shannon Blee netted her first two collegiate goals during the game-changing run off assists from Thielemann, while Genna Portner and Christine Molinari added two scores each.
Goalie Rose Woolson won her first game of the season by earning 11 saves and picked up six groundballs to go with a caused turnover.
Last Time Out..
SIENA — The Tribe, which plays at Winthrop Friday, previously faced George Mason, Feb. 18, and were edged out 9-7. The matchup was closely contested throughout, as Mason (1-0) held a narrow one-goal margin at halftime and never led by more than three goals.
Seniors Abby Junior and Lindsey Jenks led the Tribe with two goals apiece, while Junior added a team highs in ground balls (5), draw controls (3) and caused turnovers (3).
Following the break, GMU rattled off three of the second stanza's first four goals en route to building a 7-4 advantage with 18:57 remaining. Both teams traded scores the rest of the way, as W&M was unable to narrow the margin to less than two during the remainder of the half.
