DAVIDSON, N.C. — Davidson women's lacrosse head coach Kim Wayne announced today the addition of 10 recruits to the class of 2022, who will join the program next Fall for the 2018-19 season. The class is comprised of five midfielders, three defenders, one attacker and one goalkeeper.
"I am excited to officially welcome our next recruiting class to the Davidson Wildcat family. This class is one of the most dynamic recruiting classes we have signed in my 10 years at Davidson and I am thrilled to add them to our roster next year," said Wayne, who enters her 10th season for the 2018 campaign. "We have worked hard to build a culture among the team that combines commitment, hard work, dedication and drive, and each one of these athletes brings all of these qualities with them. I strongly believe they will fit in well with our amazing group of talented young women who have put Davidson Lacrosse on the map by taking us to the A-10 tournament two years in a row. We have so much to look forward to as the future of Davidson lacrosse keeps getting stronger."
The Wildcats will welcome to the Class of 2022: Jane DiGregorio (Cutchogue, N.Y.), Gianna New (Fox Lane, N.Y.), Sarah Hardy (Atlanta, Ga.), Braeden Dial (New Canaan, Conn.), Megan Filter (Stevensonville, Md.), Lauren Arkell (Brentwood, N.H.), Emily Weld (Cold Spring Harbor, N.Y.), Hayden Callahan (Raleigh, N.C.), Emma Johnson (Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla.) and Katy Morris (Annapolis, Md.).
