DAVIDSON, N.C. — Davidson continues its stretch of playing five of its first seven games at home when East Tennessee State comes to Alumni Stadium for a 7 p.m. matchup on the pitch in women's soccer.
The Matchup
Davidson (2-2, 0-0 A-10), which is riding a two-game winning streak, plays host to ETSU Thursday under the lights. The Wildcats are 1-2 at home to start the year.
The All-Time Series/Last Meetings
The all-time series against ETSU dates back to 1997 and is only eight games old. The Wildcats hold a 7-1 lead in the series, with its only setback a 2-1 decision in 2003. The last meeting occurred back in 2004, the final season ETSU was in the Southern Conference with Davidson, and saw the 'Cats net a 1-0 win on the road.
Scouting the Wildcats

ETSU went 9-9-1 a year ago and 4-4-1 in conference play ... the Buccaneers returned to the SoCon in 2014 after a nine-year run in the Atlantic Sun ... they were picked to finish fifth in the league, while Emily McKerlie and Molly Collinson were preseason all-league picks ...
