NEW ORLEANS, La. – The Davidson men's track and field team garnered US Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Academic Team honors, announced Thursday.
The 'Cats combined for a cumulative grade point average of 3.27. Of the seven Atlantic 10 schools making the cut, Davidson ranked third.
Recent graduate, Daniel Samet, earned A-10 All-Academic Team honors for both the indoor and outdoor seasons, while classmate Patrick Rollo was named to the All-Academic indoor team.
A total of 123 men's programs earned this distinction topped by Butler's team GPA of 3.49.
