NEWPORT NEWS, Va. — Davidson College placed 112 of an Atlantic 10 record 1,698 student-athletes on the 2016 Spring Commissioner's Honor Roll, the conference office announced Thursday afternoon.
For the second straight semester, the overall total, as well as the average per school, set a number of league records. Including the Fall semester numbers, there were a total of 3,377 honorees during 2015-16, the most in league history. Previously the single year record was 3,255, set in 2012-13 when the conference had 16 institutions. Both marks are the best single semester numbers of Commissioner Bernadette V. McGlade's tenure.

In addition, the 14 member institutions had an average 121.3 student-athletes qualify for the Commissioner's Honor Roll, surpassing last semester's record average of 119.9 honorees per institution.
