
Osment Races at 2016 Olympic Marathon Trial

LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Former Davidson stand out and All-American Erin Osment '15, placed 18th out of 149 runners in her first ever Olympic Marathon trial Saturday.
Osment finished the 26.2 mile course in a personal best 2:40.42.
Osment hit the pavement in Los Angeles after registering a qualifying half marathon standard time in January. Osment posted a time of 1:14.18 at the Jacksonville Bank Half Marathon.
The Atlanta, Ga., native capped her four-year career with a stellar senior campaign. She captured two Atlantic 10 titles before becoming just the third female track athlete to qualify for the NCAA Championship. On track and field's biggest stage, Osment placed 14th in the 10,000-meter with a time of 32:14.25 to set a new program mark.
