Men’s Golf Signs Alex Ross for 2017-18

DAVIDSON, N.C. – Alex Ross (Atlanta, Ga./Pace Academy) has signed a National Letter of Intent to join the Davidson men's golf team in 2017-18, as recently announced by head coach Tim Straub.
"We are very excited that Alex will be joining our golf team next fall," said Coach Straub. "He is a tremendous student athlete with a very bright future in college golf and will be a great addition to our team and Davidson College"

Accomplishments: Two-time team captain at Pace Academy • 13th Ranked Player in the state of Georgia • All-State selection following his junior season • Finished runner-up in the 2016 Georgia State Junior Championship • Recorded a fifth-place showing at the 2016 AJGA Under Armour Championship • One of only 12 players in the country named to the 2016 AJGA Transamerica Scholastic All-American Team.
Davidson will open its 2017 spring slate at the Wexford Collegiate on Feb. 27-28 in Hilton Head, S.C.
