Davidson Drops 2-0 A-10 Decision on the Road

OLEAN, N.Y. – The Davidson women's soccer team fell on the road Thursday night to host St. Bonaventure by the score of 2-0 in Atlantic 10 play at Marra Complex.
The Wildcats fell 1-5-1 in A-10 play and 5-10-1 overall. The Bonnies won their first league game to move to 1-6 and improved their overall record to 4-11-1.
Quick Hits About and From the Game:
• This was just the third all-time meeting between both school's women's soccer programs.
• Davidson had won the first two meetings, including picking up its first-ever A-10 victory at St. Bonaventure in 2014.
• Both teams had to weather through a lighting delay. With just under 10 minutes to go in the first half, the teams headed inside for approximately 45 minutes due to lightning in the area.
• SBU scored both goals in the first half off the feet of Bella Marra and Sabrina Sousa-Sampson in the 24th and 44th minutes.
