DAVIDSON, N.C. — Senior midfielder Vicky Bruce of the Davidson women's soccer team was recently named a HERO Sports Gems of the Week performer after her outstanding game last Saturday vs. Francis Marion.
Bruce recorded a single-game school-record four assists, all coming on corner kicks, in leading the Wildcats to a 7-0 win. The senior pushed her season total to eight helpers, good for tops in the Atlantic 10. She paces the offense with 12 points, also adding a pair of goals to her eight assists.
