Samet Named A-10 Men's Performance of the Week

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – Senior Daniel Samet has been named the Atlantic 10 Men's Cross Country Performer of the Week, the conference announced Tuesday.
At the 2015 Commodore Classic, Samet turned in Davidson's top performance. The Washington, D.C., native finished the 8K course in 25:34.9 to finish 28th overall in a field of 213 runners. The Wildcats finished 11th out of 20 teams competing.
This is the second weekly award for Davidson this season. Ryan Phillips was named the conference's top performer Sept. 8.
Davidson returns to action Sept. 25 with a trip down the road to Charlotte to compete at the Charlotte Invitational.
