DAVIDSON, N.C – Davidson fell in its season and home opener Friday night at Alumni Stadium in women's soccer to Albany, 2-1, in front of a crowd of 1,212.
The Wildcats (0-1) dropped to 11-16 all-time in season openers and 16-11 in home openers. Albany (1-0) won its season opener for the second time in the past three years as it starts the year on a four-game road swing.
