Davidson Picked To Finish Fourth In A-10

A-10 RELEASE

DAVIDSON, N.C. –The Davidson men's cross country team has been selected to finish fourth in the Atlantic 10 preseason coaches' poll, the conference announced Wednesday.

Davidson welcomes back four of its top five finishers from the 2015 Atlantic 10 Championship team, which placed fifth overall.

The Wildcats return senior Daniel Samet, who was named to the all-conference team after placing 12th overall with a time of 24:55.7, junior Walker Mogen and senior Ryan Phillips. Mogen was the third Wildcat to finish, crossing in 25:32.3 to take 28th place, while Phillips covered the course in 25:37.0 to rank 34th overall.

Senior Aaron Forburger and sophomore Ramsay Ritchie will also help the Wildcats continue to be competitors in the A-10.

Davidson begins its 2015 campaign at the Richmond Invite on Saturday, Sept. 5.
