Davidson Concludes Competition at Charlotte Invitational

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Davidson men's track and field team registered five top-10 finishes as the Wildcats concluded competition at the Charlotte Invitational, Saturday.
Charles Rappe placed third in the 400-meter hurdles. The junior posted a time of 54.33. Rappe went on to take 10th in the 110-meter hurdles with a time of 15.34, while teammate Jordan Marshall finished in 16.16.
Jacob Hostetler registered two top-10 finishes in the 100-meter dash and the 200-meter dash. freshman crossed in 11.09 to finish 10th overall in the 100 before turning in a 21.98 in the 200 to take seventh.
Patrick Rollo registered a time of 1:55.87 to rank 13th in the 800-meter run. Teammate Ben Corson finished in 1:58.19 to take 18th place overall.
Michael Schroeder finished fifth in the 3,000 meter run. Schroeder crossed in 9:37.26.
In the field events, Xzavier Killings ranked eighth with a jump of 6.94 meters, while Marshall registered a jump of 6.06 meters.
Davidson returns to action April 23 for the Carolina Cup.
