Golf Set to Host Davidson College Invite

Round 1 Pairings
DAVIDSON, N.C. – After opening their spring slate a week ago, the Davidson men's golf team returns to the links March 2-3 when they host the 2015 Davidson College Invitational at River Run Country Club.
In addition to the host Wildcats, the 12-team field will feature Chattanooga, George Washington, Marshall, Holy Cross, Stetson, Wofford, Radford, Presbyterian, Longwood, Gardner-Webb and Charlotte. Members from the Wake Forest golf team will also compete as individuals.
Due to cold temperatures and the recent snowstorm, the two-day event has been shortened to 36 holes beginning with a 12:30 p.m. shotgun start Monday. The final round will tee off at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday morning.
Senior Todd Eckstein continues to lead the Wildcats with a 73.42 stroke average. Davidson captured the team title two years ago.
The event will be played on the Par 72, 7,208-yard River Run Country Club layout.
