PITTSBURGH, Pa. – Playing in its final game of the 2015 season, Davidson suffered a 3-1 setback to Duquesne, in Atlantic 10 men's soccer action Saturday evening at Rooney Field.
The Wildcats, who were eliminated from postseason play last weekend, conclude their season 5-10-3 overall and 2-6-0 in the A-10.
With the win, Duquesne improves to 6-9-2 and 4-3-1.
The Dukes wasted little time grabbing the early advantage striking twice in the first 10 minutes and 29 seconds. Fredrik Borenstein scored in the 4th minute and Colin Phillip followed with his league-leading 12th goal off a free kick from just outside the box.
At the 23:39 mark, the Wildcats' Alec Rotunda cut into the deficit with his team-best fifth goal of the season.

Both keepers finished the contest with three saves.
