Rowell Earns Spot on 2015 CFPA FCS Watch List

DAVIDSON, N.C. – Sophomore Ben Rowell of the Davidson football team has been named to the College Football Performance Awards (CFPA) FCS Awards Watch List for the 2015 Kickoff Returner Award Thursday.
Rowell is one of 34 players from the Football Championship Subdivision named to the midseason kickoff returner list.
For the season, Rowell has returned 16 kickoffs for 455 yards (28.4 yards per return), which currently ranks seventh in the NCAA. The defensive back produced an 81-yarder against conference foe Valparaiso and an 80-yard return in Davidson's win over Kentucky Wesleyan.
Rowell and the 'Cats return to action Saturday for its season finale at Stetson. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m.
