Regional Ranked

Atlantic 10 Recap
A trio of top-15 finishes sparked the Davidson men's cross country team, as the Wildcats finished third at the 2015 Atlantic 10 Cross Country Championships, Oct. 31.
Will Brewster turned in Davidson's top performance with a ninth-place finish. The junior covered the 8K course in 24:54.2. Ryan Phillips wasn't far behind, covering the course in 24:57.2 to take 11th, while Daniel Samet finished 13th with a time of 25:00.4.
Davidson's top three finishers earned A-10 All-Conference honors following the race.
A Look Back
the Wildcats raced to an 18th-place finish at the NCAA Southeast Regional Championship a year ago. Whitner Chase '15 and current senior Daniel Samet paced Davidson for much of the 10k men's race. Chase covered the course in 31:57.1 to take 82nd overall, while Samet wasn't far behind, posting a time of 31:58.7 to take 83rd.
Leading the Pack
Seniors Ryan Phillip and Daniel Samet have been consistent scorers throughout the season. The senior tandem has split the role of leading the Wildcats. Phillips turned in the team's top performance at the Richmond Invitational and the Greater Louisville Classic, while Samet posted top finishes at the Commodore Classic and the Wake Forest Invitational.
Immediate Impact
Davidson has benefited tremendously from two newcomers this season - Will Brewster and Dylan Carmack.
Brewster, who turned in Davidson's top performance at the Atlantic 10 Championships, has scored in all five meets he competed in this season, including a top-five finish at the Richmond invitational. Brewster has been the second Davidson athlete across the line in three of the four meets, while claiming the third scoring position at the Greater Louisville Classic.
After finishing in the sixth position in the first event of the season, Carmack has found his stride, turning in three consecutive scoring performances for the Wildcats. A week ago, Carmack was the team's No. 3 at the Wake Forest Invitational. He also has been the team's No. 5 (Commodore Classic) and No. 4 (Great Louisville Classic) this season.
What's Next?
Depending on results from the NCAA Southeast Regional, the team or qualifying student-athletes could get the chance to compete in the NCAA Championships on Saturday, Nov. 21.
