2015 Schedule
DAVIDSON, N.C. – Head coach Dick Cooke announced the 2015 Davidson baseball schedule Friday, which includes the program's first Atlantic 10 games as well as regional matchups that include the nation's top teams.

All game dates and times are subject to change.

The 2015 season will be Cooke's 25th at the helm and is slated to include 51 regular season games. Of those, 29 will be at Wilson Field, including 20 of the first 26. The Wildcats will play eight three-game series against A-10 foes (24 games), while the non-conference schedule renews series against familiar ACC foes NC State, Wake Forest, Duke and North Carolina, as well as SEC foe South Carolina.

For its inaugural A-10 season, the Wildcats will host LaSalle (Mar. 20-22), Saint Louis (Mar. 27-29), Dayton (Apr. 17-19), and Richmond (May 14-16), and visit Rhode Island (Apr. 3-4), Fordham (Apr. 10-12), St. Bonaventure (Apr. 24-26) and George Mason (May 1-3).

The season will open on Friday, Feb. 13 at a tournament hosted by NC State. The 'Cats will face a former Southern Conference rival, Appalachian State (now in the Sun Belt) in their first game, before taking on the host Wolfpack Saturday and Villanova Sunday.

The home opener will be Tuesday, Feb. 17 against Wake Forest, starting a home-and-home series that Davidson will complete with a trip to Winston-Salem Tuesday, Apr. 14. The 'Cats will then host Lehigh and Army the following weekend, before visiting the Gamecocks Tuesday, Feb. 24.

The next 10 games leading into March will be at home, starting with a three-game series against Georgetown (Feb. 27-Mar. 1), a midweek visit from former SoCon rival Elon, and weekend series against Yale and Presbyterian (Mar. 7-8) and Akron (Mar. 13-15). A Tuesday game at UNC (Mar. 17) will be Davidson's last before A-10 play dominates the remaining weekends.

In addition to Wake Forest and Elon (Davidson will travel Apr. 28 to complete the series), additional midweek home-and-home series include High Point (Mar. 24 at High Point and the home finale at Wilson Field May 6), Winthrop (Mar. 31 at Winthrop and Apr. 21 at home) and Duke (Apr. 7 at Duke, May 5 at home).
