‘Cats Compete at Final Day of Johnson City Indoor Classic

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. – The men's track and field team had a strong showing that included several top-10- finishes at the final day of the Johnson City Indoor Classic.
"Going into this weekend, our goal was to compete," said head coach Renny Waldron. "We didn't worry about our marks or times, just competing, and the end results was that we finished on the podium in several events and many of our guys ran personal bests. It was a great way to kick off this semester for our guys and a sign that we are headed in the right direction."
Henry Falotico placed second in the 1 mile run, crossing the line in 4:22.90 to take second. Freshman Ramsay Ritchie wasn't far behind collecting fourth-place with a time of 4:24.11.
In the 3,000 meter run, Walker Mogen posted a time of 8:35.83 to finish in fourth place. Sal Del Giudice crossed the line in 8:50.40 to take ninth place, while Aaron Forburger ran 9:00.59 to come in 15th place.
Davidson returns to the track Jan. 30-31 at the JDL Hilton Garden Invitational.
