
Samet Named A-10 Men's Performer of the Week

DAVIDSON, N.C. – Junior Daniel Samet of the Davidson men's cross country team has been named the Atlantic 10 Men's Performer of the Week, the conference announced Tuesday.
Samet crossed the lined in 26:20.90 to place first out of 133 runners at the Eye Opener Invitational in Spartanburg, S.C., to kick off the Wildcats' season, Sept. 5. The Washington, D.C., native led the pack as the Wildcats placed first overall at the event with four runners finishing in the top-10.
Samet and Davidson return to action Saturday, Sept. 12, as the Wildcats compete at the Commodore Classic in Nashville, Tenn.
