Forburger Finishes Eighth at Charlotte Invitational

CHARLOTTE, N.C. –Davidson men's cross country put forth a strong effort at the Charlotte Invitational Friday afternoon.
Aaron Forburger crossed the line in 26:01.1 for an eighth place finish of 36 runners.
"Tonight's meet served as a good learning experience for the B-squad. It was great to see Aaron racing well and showing progression from his last time out," said associate head coach Renny Waldron. "When we race the entire squad here in two weeks, I expect Aaron will be mixing it up and racing alongside our top seven from the Vanderbilt meet."
Michael Schroeder ranked 17th with a time of 27:24.0. Alex Herron posted a time of 27:47.3 to finish 21st, while Patrick Rollo finished in 29:39.9.
Davidson, which rested their top-seven performers from the Commodore Classic, will compete at the Paul Short Invitational at Bethlehem, Pa., on Oct. 4.
