Register for Coach Bob Patnesky’s Wrestling Camp

DAVIDSON, N.C. – Registration is currently open for the 2014 Bob Patnesky Davidson Wrestling Camp, set to take place this June in Davidson.
YOUTH CAMP
The youth camp is for aspiring wrestlers age 7-13. The session will start Sunday, June 15 at 9 a.m. and will run through Wednesday, June 18; with the final session ending at 11 a.m. Campers will receive instruction on fundamental techniques, match tactics, skill development and more. The cost of the camp is $160 per camper and will include a Davidson Wrestling t-shirt.
HIGH SCHOOL CAMP
High school wrestlers are invited to the high school session, which will start at 9 a.m. on Sunday, June 15, and end at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, June 18. All campers will receive instruction on fundamental techniques, match tactics and management, training plans and more. The cost of the camp is $250, which includes daily lunch, supervised free time in the wrestling room and a Davidson Wrestling t-shirt.
CAMP STAFF
Davidson head coach Bob Patnesky headlines the camp staff. A three-time NCAA qualifier himself at West Virginia, Patnesky has coached four NCAA qualifiers in his tenure at Davidson. Joining him will be assistant coach Erik Wince, also a NCAA qualifier at Gardner-Webb University. In addition to coaching a trio of national qualifiers at Davidson, Wince spent five seasons as the head wrestling coach at Forsyth Country Day School in Lewisville, N.C., where he was thrice named the Piedmont Athletic Conference of Independent Schools Coach of the Year. He guided the Furies to a pair of NC Independent School Athletic Association Titles with 19 wrestlers appearing in the state finals in three seasons. Wince also serves as the USA Wrestling State Chairman for North Carolina.
