Wildcats Welcome Seven to Class of 2018 for W. Soccer

DAVIDSON, N.C. — Head coach Greg Ashton, entering his 11th season, announced his latest incoming recruiting class that will join the Davidson women's soccer program in August 2014 to kickoff their collegiate careers.
The class of 2018 consists of eight young women who were part of Davidson's early decision admissions process and are Ashton's 10th recruiting class since taking the helm of the program in 2004.
"I'm pleased to announce the group of young women who will be joining our women's soccer program for the fall of 2014," said Ashton. "These young women come from six different states and different backgrounds, but have all demonstrated their desire to become valuable members of the Davidson College student body and contributing members of the women's soccer program. I'm happy to have these young women with us as we look forward to an exciting first season in the Atlantic 10 conference this coming Fall."
The Wildcats will welcome to the class of 2018: Becca Ravitz (Skillman, N.J.), Rachael Western (Atlanta, Ga.), Garrett Barnes (Montgomery, Ala.), Erin Gross (Boca Raton, Fla.), Katie Im (Tarpon Springs, Fla.), Kennedy Jones (Washington, D.C.) and Lauren Grace Himes (Nashville, Tenn.).

Becca Ravitz
Position: Goalkeeper Hometown: Skillman, N.J.

"Becca is a great addition to our goalkeeping ranks. She will provide immediate competition to our returning keepers. She has all the frame and technical abilities to have a promising collegiate career. I'm excited that Becca chose Davidson as the place where she will strive to continue her development as a D-I student-athlete."
