Broken Records
The Wildcats made quite the dent on the record books this season as a new Davidson program mark was set in every meet the 'Cats competed in this indoor season. Ashlyn Gruber kicked the season off with a new record of 3:05.84 in the 1000-meter run at the JDL College Kick-Off in December, while Molly Marshall bested her own mark in the pole vault, clearing 3.05m. Hannah Rieden broke the Davidson record in the 800-meter run at the Niswonger Invite with a time of 2:18.70, while Marshall once again bested her mark with a 3.35-m performance at the Pole Vault Summit that weekend. The next weekend, Brigid Behrens eclipsed Rieden's time in the 800m with a mark of 2:16.55 at the HPU Team Challenge, while Sarah Paddon set a new record of 5:02.97 in the mile at the UCS Invite soon after. The 4x400 relay of Gruber, Rieden, Behrens and Grace Watt also set a new program mark at the meet with a time of 4:02.74.
