Wildcats Announce Spring Practices, April 12 Spring Game

DAVIDSON, N.C. – Head coach Paul Nichols announced the Davidson football spring practice schedule Wednesday, which will conclude with the annual Red-Black Spring Game in Richardson Stadium Saturday, April 12.
The Wildcats will begin their 14-session slate after spring break on Tuesday, March 11 at 4:45 p.m., and will practice every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday until the spring game. The weekday practices will begin at 4:45 and the Saturday sessions will begin in the morning.
The spring work will lead to the Spring Game on April 12 at 3:00 p.m.
Davidson is returning 38 letterwinners and 15 starters (7 offense, 8 defense) from last year's team. Quarterback will be among the key position battles following the departure of four-year starter and career passing leader Jonathan Carkhuff, who is concluding his Wildcat career on the Davidson baseball team this spring.
