DURHAM, N.C. – A pair of Wildcats put forth one last effort of the season, representing the Davidson women's track & field team at the Wolfpack Last Chance Qualifier hosted by N.C. State on Friday.
Sarah Paddon competed in the 1,500-meter run, taking 10th overall. She crossed the line in 4:37.58, coming within .40 of her career best. She had previously run a 4:49.19 after being run off the track at the SoCon Championships, and came into the meet looking to improve on that mark.
Paddon later ran the event for the second time in two days at the Virginia Challenge, taking 40th in a larger field. She crossed the line in 4:41.53.
Brigid Behrens also competed at the Wolfpack meet, running in the 800-meter event. She ran a career-best 2:15.45 for ninth place. Her mark moved her past teammate Olivia Menden and into second place on Davidson's all-time top 10.
