15 Wildcats Named to Winter SoCon All-Academic Squad

SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Fifteen members of Davidson's winter sports teams were recently honored by the Southern Conference as part of the league's all-academic team, announced by the conference on Wednesday.
The 177 student-athletes on the team surpassed last year's winter total by 19. All 12 SoCon institutions were represented on the team, which honored student-athletes from men's and women's basketball, men's and women's indoor track and field, and wrestling.
To be eligible, student-athletes must maintain a grade point average of 3.3 and partake in at least 50 percent of their team's competitions. They must also have completed at least 24 credit hours in the previous two semesters.
