DAVIDSON, N.C. — After a 12-day break, the Davidson women's basketball team returns to the hardwood this Saturday, Dec. 21, when they play host to cross-county rival Charlotte at 1 p.m. in Belk Arena.
The Wildcats, off since Dec. 9, continue with their season-long six-game homestand, which is the longest since the 1998-99 season. They also play Richmond after Christmas to close out the homestand.
Game Notes: Quick Notes ...
•Davidson, riding a two-game winning streak, plays its second to last game of a six-game homestand Saturday.
•The 'Cats are 3-1 so far during the homestand, winning vs. Gardner-Webb, Wofford and Furman.
•Davidson has won 66 of its past 89 games at John M. Belk Arena.
•Head coach Michele Savage is in her fourth year at Davidson (63-46, 43-19 SoCon).
