Northwestern Mutual North Charlotte Honors Andrew Lantz '14

DAVIDSON, N.C. - In continuing their partnership with Davidson athletics, Northwestern Mutual North Charlotte honored men's cross country and track distance runner Andrew Lantz '14 for his achievements on the track and in the classroom as part of their Northwestern Mutual Student-Athlete Spotlight. Lantz was recently presented a plaque at a Wildcat basketball game.
A native of Houston, Texas, Lantz has compiled a 3.6 GPA as a math major and earned SoCon Academic Honor Roll and SoCon All-Academic honors while rewriting the Davidson record books. He is a four-time SoCon champion, winning the indoor 800 meters twice and the outdoor 800 meters twice, holds the school records in the outdoor 800 meters, 1500 meters and mile, and the indoor DMR, 800 meters, and mile. Lantz qualified for the NCAA Regionals in the 800 last season and advanced to the quarterfinals with a school-record time.
