DAVIDSON, N.C. — After playing six of their first seven games to open the 2013-14 campaign on the road, the Wildcat women's basketball team returns home to start a season-long six-game homestand starting Saturday vs. Gardner-Webb at 2 p.m.
Davidson (2-5) will look to snap a recent five-game losing streak, while also keeping alive a winning streak in the all-time series vs. the Runnin' Bulldogs (4-1).
Game Notes: Quick Hits ...
•Davidson returns home for the first time since Nov. 15 to play host to Big South-foe Gardner-Webb.
•The Wildcats just wrapped up playing four games during an eight-day span and playing six of their first seven games overall on the road.
•Saturday's game starts a season-long six-game homestand, the longest since the 1998-99 season.
•Head coach Michele Savage enters her fourth year at Davidson (60-45, 41-19 SoCon).
