• After a six-day break from action, Davidson returns to the court Saturday afternoon for a 1 p.m. tip at Stetson.
• The Wildcats, who have already played three nationally-ranked opponents, enter 1-5 overall following a 79-58 setback to New Mexico in the 3rd place game of the Charleston Classic.
• Davidson and Stetson's only meeting on the hardwood was Jan. 24, 1917.
• The Wildcats are in the midst of a six-game stretch away from home and will have only played three contests at Belk Arena before the New Year.
• De'Mon Brooks, who was tabbed the Southern Conference Preseason Player of the Year, leads the Wildcats in scoring and rebounding, averaging 16.8 points and 6.4 rebounds per game.
• Brian Sullivan and Tom Droney are also contributing double figures, averaging 14.2 and 10.3 points, respectively.
• In addition to its second straight NCAA Tournament appearance and 12th overall, Davidson finished the 2012-13 campaign with a 26-8 record, marking the fifth time in the last seven seasons the Wildcats have posted 25 or more wins.
• Davidson concluded the 2012-13 season with 17 straight wins before falling to Marquette, 59-58, at the buzzer, in the second round of the NCAA Tournament.

• Bob McKillop, who is the eighth longest-tenured coach in the country, is in his 25th season at the helm of the Wildcats.
• McKillop is the school's and league's all-time winningest coach with a record of 453-284.
• A year ago, McKillop was named SoCon Coach of the Year for a record ninth time.
• With last season's NCAA?Tournament appearance, every four-year player in the Davidson program since 1994 will have played in the "Big Dance."
• In 2012-13, Davidson led the nation in free-throw percentage with a .795 clip.

• Once again Davidson will tackle one of the nation's toughest non-conference schedules, which includes contests with Duke, Virginia, Georgia, Clemson, New Mexico, Drexel, North Carolina, Wichita State and College of Charleston.
• Five of Davidson's non-conference
opponents were ranked in the preseason Top-25.
• All told, nine teams advanced to postseason play a year ago, including four that finished with RPIs in the Top-20, according to the NCAA's RPI ratings.
