DAF Dollars at Work:Wrestling Locker Room Upgrades

While wrestling season is not yet officially underway, there was quite a bit of activity this summer enhancing the space that the team calls home. Thanks to donor support, the wrestling locker room received an overhaul that is already proving to be very useful to the players.
The month long process including changing out the old metal lockers for new dark wood lockers. The former benches have been replaced with movable stools for each locker space. A new and much needed scale was also purchased. Fresh paint and Davidson branding and decals were added to the new floor mats as well as to the walls for an overall more inviting space.
"It feels good to have a nice locker room space", senior Scott Patrick said. "It's more official and professional and a big improvement from what we had before. Overall we are very appreciative of the support we received to make this happen."
The Davidson Athletic Fund provides operating, scholarship and capital funds to support 21 NCAA Division I programs and over 420 student athletes. For more information on how you can support the wrestling program, please call 704-894-2396.
