DAVIDSON, N.C. — The Wildcat women's team returns to action this Sunday, Aug. 26, when it plays host to Tennessee Tech at Alumni Stadium in a non-conference women's soccer tilt.

Davidson looks to rebound from a tough 1-0 season-opening defeat last Friday evening against Liberty by hosting Tennessee Tech on Sunday afternoon at 2 p.m.

Tennessee Tech (1-1) opened the season last weekend with contests East Tennessee State and Chattanooga ... the Golden Eagles went 1-1, earning a 2-0 win at Chattanooga after dropping 2-0 decision vs. ETSU on Friday ... Ellie Iaciofano and Andrea Meloff had a goal and assist each to start the year ... Meloff's goal gave her 16 for her career putting her fifth all-time in TTU history ... she is seventh in career points with 37 ... The Golden Eagles play at Hight Point on Friday night before heading to Davidson to conclude their three-game road swing ... Tenn. Tech was picked to finish tied for 10th in the Ohio Valley Conference ... The Golden Eagles sported a 5-13-1 overall mark last year and 2-7 in the OVC ...
