W. Soccer Announces Class of 2016, Eight Sign to Play at Davidson

DAVIDSON, N.C. — Head coach Greg Ashton has announced the addition of eight scholar-athletes who will join the Davidson program in August 2012 to kickoff their first collegiate soccer season as members of the Davidson women's soccer team.
The eight young women were part of Davidson's early decision admissions process and are Ashton's eighth recruiting class since taking the helm in 2004.
“I'm pleased to announce the signing of the Class of 2016 who will be joining our women's soccer program for the fall of 2012,” said Ashton. “These eight ladies come from seven different states and different backgrounds, but have all demonstrated that they are tremendous students and we welcome them to the Davidson College community. The overriding theme with this class is their fantastic work ethic and competitive nature which will also add strength and depth to many positions on the team. My hope is that their competitive drive will help push this program onto a higher level of performance and success in the coming seasons.”
The Wildcats will welcome to the class of 2016: Lauren Skorb (Alpharetta, Ga.), Sarah Tuggle (Simpsonville, S.C.), Madison See (Midland, Ga.), Natalie Spach (Seattle, Wash.), Jenni Isaac (Bridgewater, Conn.), Dani Johnson (Norfolk, Va.), Maddie Fisher (Indianapolis, ind.) and Rachael Horton (Cleveland, Ohio).
